Um..... I seriously don't feel like taking and posting a pic. Just put all your gears in then cram in as many bbs as you can fit and then stick it together.

I tried to spin the axles with my hands and it seems pretty locked, however when the bbs get in just the right spot it will slip just a tiny bit. I think over time it will eat away at the bbs or gears or both. But if that happens then I'll just JB it.

I don't think your gears will like those bb's for very long.

yes, in metal vs. plastic- metal always wins. Good idea though; I would love to see a better solution to lockers than jb weld (or spending anymore $$ on this rig!)

the only thing I am can think of is the fact that it is not reversiable; I do not see a need or desire to reverse it true, but I would like the option if there is ever a better way developed.

The TLT's have pot-metal diffs, not plastic diffs. It is a good idea though. But instead of a bb maybe somthing else

I would think that they would get chewed up quick. Try it and let us know

The best thing I could think of to use that is reversible would be small pieces of hard metal in various sizes, so that it can get inbetween the teeth and prevent them from moving. With the bb's only the very edge of the gears are touching the bb's.

I have driven it in my room on carpet (high traction surface) and some bricks with 4ws for about an hour with no problems yet.

actually the easiest way and mmost reversable way is hot glue. it gives jsut a little bit and helps prevent the axles snapping to some extents but also even when locking the my own diffs I messed up once it was cool I could just rip it out and do it again. it works awsome.

will hot glue hold up to a BL motor setup running through a R2 trans? seems like it would be a weak link in the system- maybe a good thing; keep s**t from breaking.

Why not just JB weld it. Who cares if you can't reverse it. It's a few bucks to replace it. Anyway why in the hell would you want to undo it? It's a crawler and thats what it will always be. Just my thoughts...But what do I know.

I just did the spider gear swap, I'm going to stick with that untill something breaks in there.

I don't think the potmetal will hold aginst the bb's.
