| Too much of a good thing...
I started off with this..... Which turned into this...... Which came back painted and is now this.... Thanks a ton to DoubleJ for getting it powdercoated, but I am thinking maybe I did too much! Wow, this thing is RED. Powdercoated parts include -chassis -belly pan -front servo/battery tray -rear axle plate -upper, lower and steering links -shock spring retainers -rock rings Using Traxxas red springs and dyed a gray pede trans case red as well. Receiver is a RED HiTec unit as well. I honestly didn't intend for it to be so...RED, but it is what it is I guess! Let me know your thoughts! |

if for some reason it falls off a cliff into some bushes you wont have a problem finding it thats for sure. I kinda dig the red-ness, although I think it would look BA if the chassis was black and everything else was red. imo. |

Wow, that's red! Looks cool, though. Accent it with some carbon fiber and a few chrome or polished metal bits and it'll look really high end. I'm sure you can think of a few things to make of carbon fiber. Radio tray? Shock mounting extensions?

I think it looks great all put togeather. Talk about coordinate. If you think it's too red then put some black, yellow or whatever color panels on it. |

J- My location is fine, I don't mind. It's growing on me, and truthfully the angle the pic was shot at makes it look a lot more intense than it really is. What is hard to see in the pic is all the aluminum at the wheels. There are Crawford extensions, knuckles, fat-rocks and I just opened my new Junfac axle brace/mounts, all this is unpainted aluminum... ...and those new comp rules suck! It's bad enough I go to all the trouble to build it from scratch, then they want me to not run it! |
