Default Total width... what's perfect, for you?

What is the perfect width of a setup TLT rig? Perhaps I've never paid much attention to how wide folks set theirs up at.

9.5".. 10".. 10.5".. 11".. 11.5".. 12".. 12.5"...

For me there is no "perfect width".

Too many other variables come into play.

Width is only part of the equation.

that's what she said....

my older tuber was 10.5" with blackfoot stubs and my new tuber now has the stock axle stubs and is at 10". They are equally as stable due to the new chassis setup (which is better).

so it really depends on the rigs' setup IMO.

Perhaps I should re-do the main point of the question then...... What is the width that you run most of the time at a Comp?

Most of the guys around here tend to build it and run it the same for most of the season. Just courious if other Comp go-ers tend to just run the same setup for most of the season or do you like to change it up as often as you can?

I like the 10 to 10 1/2" range myself.

I voted 11.5in. But thats what worked on my Tuber. Had to go a little wider b/c of the higher COG.

I have 3 bottles in front of me, 2 cans on the counter..... 4 mashers next to the laptop, some TLT axles, a knife, MFM chassis, and a Barbie my size poster. The Barbie poster is taking up my time.... I mean yeah..... I'll have it finished before the 10th, the scale truck that is.
