Default A little more

I started the initial set up and the tranny was cut to fit.
The four link was hooked up.

Chassis looks good for the most part.
Not that it really matters, but having to hack the end off of your tranny for it to fit isn't appealing at all. Seems that that part of the chassis could have been designed a little better, imo.

You're right, it doesn't matter.
This chassis was designed around a trimmed, lightned pede trans.

The previous version of this chassis speaks volumes about the design behind this. Simply put:
-- I get a narrower crawler
-- proven design
-- and I just like to cut things.

I used a 3x5 card to mock the bottom of the tranny for drilling.

Then, I mounted the transmission and counter sunk the two 4x16mm screws to the "black ice."

When I did this, I noticed the lower suspension ends were just barely touching the edges of the transmission, so I took it off and shaved her a little. Shaving her was just the thing to made it smooth.

Driveline and axles are being assembled.

I would mount the switch higher on the chassis so it wont get hit.

Looks good though.

Um, those are servo mounts. The servo will sit between them and the ears screw to the mounts. Pretty standard items on any rc car/truck, not just crawlers.
Yes, you will definitely hit that switch at some point, it needs to be mounted higher.
Those red links look cool.
Damn.
Now I want some blue ones to go with the 48 other blue anodized parts I've managed to accumulate...
