[quote=chevellian] Are the gears in the tranny from stock drive products? I am working on a tranny design to help my max rig climb better. I was wandering how aluminum to aluminum would wear. quote] I picked them out from McMaster Carr, you know the trade, just went w/ metal over plastic ...It does sound different when your runnin w/ others who have plastic trannys... small amount of grease and they should last some time. Its just crawling soooo |

When does it ever end ! There's enough billet on that thing to drive a man insane, if it ever does, you can give me a call . lol Great job Kevin, you've inspired me to build another chevy, maybe also a cool hauler to boot. |

Kevin I didn't know that you were a member here....shows what I know As always your craftsmanship is truely amazing and your projects always come out better than the last. This actually reminds me of your JUGGSTERR chassis, I can still remeber my first one for my clod, I don't know if you still remember but me and Ryan from HI both got one from you, that was a few years back. Glad to see ya dropping by every now and then. I still have my single speed tranny that you built for me, just have to finish the project that it is going in I am always impressed by your work and can't wait to see more.....hey you and Corey should team up again, you guys made some killer rigs. Ahh those were the good ole days |
