A couple pics of the one he's working on for me, in reverse chronological order. Josh, I hope you don't mind me linking to your album.

And where's my manners? Badhoopty, I love the Jeep he built for you, it was in part the inspiration for mine...

That is by far my favorite TLT, well actually thats my favorite rock crawler that I've ever seen.

Hulk, you did an amazing job on the geometry of the tubing. BadHoopty I love the body and everything you've done with the truck.
Those Rubicon bodies seem to have many uses now. I run one on my maxx. Just not with the amazing tuber.

hehe, so anyone know how much a set of TLT axles can set ya back lol. Nah... I gotta get my buggy running.

thanks! i'm very happy with it, hulk did indeed do a very good job, and he banged it out from start to finish in about a week. (this was before his kid came into the world) it took awhile to figure out the 4-link geometry, it was originally planned that the links would attach to the holes in the boatsides, but that gave me hella axle sway and it woulda got hung up on rocks really easy, the way i ended up mounting the links is pretty much perfect. it'l flex about 80degrees with the limiting straps off, but its MUCHO more stable with the straps snugging it down a bit.

too bad the powdercoating didnt turn out as good as it could. but live and learn i guess. i had reservations at first about the chrome, but now that the body has paint i really dig it.

i'm suprised nobody has asked about the kyosho 480 motor and planetary reduction, if any of you guys want to save weight and not be a part of the lathe motor bandwagon they work KILLER. even with the reduction i can lift a wheel when i gun it, very peppy.

i gotta say just from running the tlt in my bedroom they are an extrememly fun rig. i cant wait until i get some time to drive out into the wild and get it dirty. already thinking of the next one, i had a pti on preorder that i was planning on having hulk work up a chassis on, but i think i'll just get another tlt for close to half the price of a pti...

I'd like to know how it would compare performance wise to some of the other TLT based rigs.

Cuase IMO that is one of the coolest looking rigs I've seen.

3 days ago I traded for rig that was built by hulk. Tonight I'll throw up some pics. Mine is similar with a full cage not a slant back.
