Default BULU 3 link setup

Hey everyone, I just thought I would post some info and pics of my 3 link BULU. There is more slack in this setup than with 4 link but for some reason I cant get the 4 link to work correctly. If you need anymore info about this please post questions.....I have been flooded with PM's with questions.LOL The thing I like the most about this is that when you compress the suspension, the axels stay level, or where ever you set them. This is a simple mod.

How is that 3rd link going to keep the axle centered?

Like I said it does have more slack than a 4 link but it doesn't seem to effect it much. Better than the way it was before..... I never figured it out. I think it was the way my shocks were mounted though.

Yea, I have looked at doing the 4 link just moving it to the top like you have it....I havent had much time to work on them lately.......I plan to make a few changes.

The modified picture that Adam posted is a 3-link setup. You must triangulate the links some how in order to keep the axle centered. If you were to built the link setup as per Adam's modified image it'd keep the axle centered properly.

This too is a 3-link setup on a Bulu2 chassis... This one works killer too. All stock holes are used, links are more parallel and keeps everything nice and tight. BTW, this is the top 2.2 truck in the ORCRC group.

That looks good. Does his axels "roll" when it articulates?

By "roll" I assume you mean does it rotate forward or rearward(pinion angle change) when the suspension moves in a straight vertical(up & down) movement, which hardly ever occurs on a crawler.... but no, it doesn't.

This rig which was built by S-n-T Fab is the best Bulu2 rig ever built. Everyone is trying to keep up with good 'ol Dave, so far people are just trying to copy his setups. He's about 2 steps ahead of us, but he builds 1:1 wheelin' rigs often enough to know a good amount of techniques
