I just got my tlt kit but do not have funds to mod it cause I am trying to buy a new 1:1 car or fix mine. So how can I fit a 6cell stick in my stock chassis. Its not all assembled yet. Just trying to get ideas |

If you have the maxclimber kit, it accepts stick batts. If you have the rockbuster kit, it uses a special batt. The reason for the suv body on the maxclimber is to fit the batt.

tibs... I have just put mine together and can find ways to put a stick 6cell sub c on there... although... you can't put the body on for now. when you say youcan't afford to modify... how much could you spend? I mean, 20-30 can help you modify, or find a battery that fits |

I eat frozen burritos for lunch at work to try and save some money.. I shouldn't have bought the kit but I needed something to do to get my mind off of other things.. I'm going to try and just put the tailgate down on the stock body for now lol. I hopefully will get my car situation together here soon. So I can start a real build and build a chassic at work. I work at a sheet metal shop and we have a laser to cut and other things.. I'd like to do a steel chassis for ease of welding tubes on it and such with the tig.. But that's much later |
