i was at the HAMMER local to me and this is what happen.pionnoin fell off in case.

Oh crap, I haven't seen that before. How about some Loctite wicking type applied before installation? Otherwise maybe good to press off, apply Loctite Sleeve Retainer and press it back on?

I've had this happen twice. The pinion slides off the end of the shaft. I think it's cause they were shimmed to tight but the gear mesh sure was nice. Any way just tap it back on there (don't damage the teeth) and ad some ca glue, that should hold it for awhile.
