hey rian they are called hands or magnets or clamps or a vice or a tube bender or a i dunno :flipoff: lol it aint hard to make one you just need a mappgas kit and some braiz or silver solder(plumbers type) and just practise practise practise ( i think thats how u spell it:flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff:) and once you hav masted braizing go ahed and make a tuber"thumbsup"

You are going to add support to the front of it, right? If you leave it the way it is, it IS going to bend, especially with the shocks mounted on it. Maybe do something like this....?

fireguy 01-10-2007 07:29 PM

You Have a good start there! Other than the extra support mentioned above, I would also give some thought to the link mounts on the chassis being outside the frame, You will most likely have some hanging up issues. Thats only something to worry about if you plan on running it in Comps.

Z-Rider 01-10-2007 07:33 PM

Man I wish I had that kind of skill! Nice looking chassis.

JK Fab 01-10-2007 07:54 PM

Thanks for all the replys guys. I will for sure look into the supports in the front. I kind of stopped where I was at till I got some TLT axles. I tried to put some clod axles on it but I really do not like the way the axles look on this rig. As far as getting hung up on the lower links, the whole front, bottom, sides, and back will all be smooth with body work. I will take some more pics of the rig tomorrow, with the work I did on it today. (I got the rear uper link mounts made) Tomorrow I hope to get some front uper link mounts made and some front support bars. I will keep some pics comming.

Looks good so far neesds some pieces in the places ILoveRCRockCrawlin said

JK Fab 01-11-2007 07:06 PM

Here are 4 more pics but these are the last I am going to post. Only because I think I am going to run Clod axles on it insted of tlt. front upper and rear upper link mounts made. Added the front down tubes, but I am not sure how I like the down tubes in the front winshield area. All in all it looks cool to me though.

It is still going to be a 2.2 rig. I still may do TLT axles but I really think that it will be best for me to use clod axles because I already have everything that I need to finish the project. If I pick tlt then I have to get axles, gear box, etc etc.....

Thanks for all the nice comments as well guys !!
