**Update**"First Test Drive" It was the First test drive today,no pics but heres the story. It was holding up great i was doing some gnarly-full throttle hill climbs, then my steering came undon and =SNAP= i snapped the dogbone in two.I will get some pic of how bad it messed up the dogbone it looks like a pretz,so i'll have to make a new one oh well.Other than that it was awsome. vitamin J i will get a close up of the A-arm exstension, dont forget it does need longer dogbones if you exstend the A-arms. also the touareq i believe is a longer wheelbase. One more thing my pajero needs a Name, any ideas would be great. |

no clicking sound, have you taken the cover off to make sure the gears are seated in there spot? Also the Gear box itself can get warn out,and the gears will start to get a little play in them and that can cuase a clicking sound. | |

I've had that clicking problem. It's because of the combination of a more powerful motor and better gripping tires. The little gear that drives the rear wheels is slightly stripped and slips. I don't know of anyway to fix the gear. But I'm currently working on a whole new transmission. I've ordered another metal differential and the plasitc axle, along with some more driveline parts. I'm going to mount the new diff in the front, use part of the housing to hold the pinion in place, and then run both driveshafts up to a Pede tranny. That should be pretty much indestructable . When my parts come in I'll post. |

After the first test and all the damage that was done ive got it back together and in 100% running condition.Heres a pic of how badly the dogbone bent before it broke in half. i also plan on biulding a roof rack and bumpers to hold geear for the trials comp that nor cal is putting on. |

**Update** Here it is I plan on running 2.2's when at the nor cal comps and then these when playing around,i think it looks good with the new paint job and tires....LOL the funny part about these huge tires is the sounds that come from the drive train its really scary......but after the quik test nothin really broke.ecsept the steering link let go and stripped so all have to nut it now but thats ok. tell me what you think.... Also i came up with a name which i planned on using before "THE FUZZ" Last edited by bigred; 02-24-2005 at 06:39 PM. |

Yea they are friggin huge! You need to do something to fix the extreme camber problem. Thats probably what broke your dogbones. |
