Actually the video was taken when it still made that noise and i just figured how to edit them. I fixed it now and it sounds a lot better.

I have a question. My reverse is kinda messed up. I can't go into reverse really quickly. I adjusted the speed controller to no time for reverse. It is like the motor isn't getting enough power to get it to go back right away. I can go reverse if i go gradually on the throttle but it isn't very imediate. And if i go into reverse right away, like i would if i was rolling over backwards it just does nothing. I am running a Mtronics speed controller, integy 55 turn motor, and a 6 cell battery pack. I would really like some help so i can avoid rollovers more easily. Thanks.

I was just wondering if someone could post a picture of what body posts they use on their jeep body and one with the body on and one with the body off so i know how long of body posts to get. Thanks.

Has anyone ever used the stock towers for the jeep body? Or if not then what ones did you use? Thanks.

It just depends on you,you can use the ones from the TLT kit or make your own.I suggest mounting the body from the top VS the side.....

Well the stock ones aren't long enough to reach the back of the jeep where it goes to the roof. It fits on the front though.

I am just thinking about getting the biggest ones i can and just use those. If anyone has any creative ways to put a tall body on though then could you please tell me. I want to get a video of it in the wet stuff now but im not going to run with a body off.

I still have a problem. If i go into reverse real quick like to save a rollover, it doesn't go. Only if i go gradually. Then once i get to top reverse speed, it stops. It won't go into reverse if you go real fast or to full reverse real quick. It is making me mad. Any ideas what could be wrong. I have a M.troniks esc, integy 55 turn motor, and a 6 cell battery pack. Any help is great.

Sounds like normal reverse delay. Lots of esc's have a slight delay, some more than others. Does it still delay when at a stop and then going to reverse? Remember also that it's probably a double pump reverse, meaning the first forward push of the trigger activates the break. You have to release the break and go back to neutral throttle and back forward to reverse. You can do it really fast with some esc's but there are others that don't do so hot. I had a novak xrs that had zero delay and loved it but didn't have enough BEC amperage for my liking.

Ok, i finially got it done. I think i got pretty close to the real jeep. I had the hobby store wire the plugs and everything. Here is the pics.

I might cut down the front body post since it is sticking way up there.

Looks good, I would cut off the posts. How much tire rub do you get with the body, I know on my SW2 I have to cut a bunch of body out, but I like 50-60* of articulation. Tire rub isn't a bad thing, if you wear earplugs .

I just saw a pic you have on another page, that shows where your upper links mount on the chassis. You want to put those in the holes right above the lower links, like Bender designed them, so your upper links are angled down from the axles to the chassis, this will make your truck perform better. I tried where you had them, and then moved them down, and it made a big difference.
Here's a pic of mine

I had to trim some of the fenders to eliminate tire rub, even with the body mounted way up.

Here is some more. I also went out in this meadow where all the creeks around me go into and there is a lot of big puddles. I got water up to the top of the fenders. I know other people have gotten more but it was pretty cool.

Here it is next to our Jeep. I got pretty close to what the real one looks like.
