Identifying TLT internals - help

Hey guys,

Been a while since I have posted up on here, but also been quite some time since I have pulled out my r/c parts and actually sat down for a few hours to work on them.

Anyhoo, I picked up a set of TLT axles some years ago (around 10) and just recently pulled them apart to see what the internals look like and after comparing the stock ring gear to what I have, I have to believe that they are some custom upgrade that was installed by the previous owner. Heck, for all I know, the previous owner is on here.. LOL. I have been around the crawler store pages (ie. RCP, TCS, RPP etc) and haven't been able to determine who would have made or sold this. So I have turned to the forum for some answers.

This is for the rear axle with lockouts that I have determined were from "MSD" (thanks to Brandon's FJ40 Bigballer thread). Possibly this is something MSD released some years ago? If someone can pin-point what these are, that would be awesome!

Thanks :)

RC4WD did one also but mine didn't have the screws on the back, which led to the two press fit pieces coming apart. Was thinking maybe they added the screws.

Didn't know that, could be a modded RC4WD, but recessed screw holes in back of ring gear setup look very cleanly drilled/machined for a modification. "thumbsup"
