well you sure wont have to worry about breaking anything on that rig. all you have to do is keep if from oxidizing and getting scratched. ;)

I ran alum axles on my old clod tuber. They dinged and pinged more than the stock plastic.

Take the R2 apart, drill out the stripped threads and re-tap them for some bigger bolts.

Those axles look very nice. Snow plow??? They say the belt on your tranny will slip under pressure. I had in mind to built the Tracer, just like yours, but went a different route, so I can use Stampede tranny.

Some where here, there is a guy who has fitted R2 tranny into his Tracer. You may want to look into it if you have belt slipping issues.

I really like what you did with the truck!! I did the exact same thing with my Clod it is completely Aluminum and I use it to plow snow with and pull my kids, I call it Project Overkill as I have close to $3000 into it just to plow snow!! I also have fabricatled a scale snow plow for it that totally kick Butt. Spring loaded and works GREAT. Your truck looks so Good if you wanted I could custom build you a scale plow for it? I have a machine rolled Blade thats 1/8 thick 14 wide and 4 tall on hand right now we would only have to figure out how to mount it and build the frame. Let me know what you think? And for plowing the heaver the better!! Nice job
