i loved the new lid on the bmv ...............it was a honor to be the first one to see it (and the new "shoes"). i always loved your 2.2......the way it looks and performs. looks like i'll be running a bmv next season (hint, hint ). congrats again on your "sweeping" wins .

| I totaly agree. That is unique and a great idea. NICE WORK!! I want to mount my motor under a parma v8 on my scale project and your idea makes it "do-able". Would you mind if I made an attempt at your idea on my own rig?

cool inovation Q's for ya Your Pic's dont make sense of your tranny setup, where's the spool etc. ? "Next I sleeved inside the spool with 1/4" brake line. With the gear end of the pede output cut off, the output now slides right in the inside of the brake line. Just make sure everything is spaced out correctly & weld it up. Did you weld the spool ends inside the pede cups ? hard to see. what did you use to connect to the GD600 looks like a cen universal welded Does it Flex Last edited by toy4crawlin; 09-24-2007 at 06:53 PM. |

It makes perfect sense. You see those pieces? That became the spool. The 1/4" BL went inside the AE spool & welded together. Then the Pede outputs slide in the BL & welded in place. You won't really be able to see it, I didn't take any pics of it before putting it in. The GD is connected to a Pede steel yolk. Of course it flexes. what would you think is the Ratio going from motor out to the axels? because i am building a scale build where i have an interior in the body so i need to place the motor in the front under the hood i am hoping make it almost the same way you did motor and GD600 up front under bonnet, driveshaft from GD600 to a shaved GT2 tranny(for minimal size) locked GT2 tranny to axels |
