Default SW2 build

I was going to do a clod build but my son(he has a stock tlt) talked me into a tlt. since I like the scale look of it I desided to do it.

-sw2 chassis
-new stampede trans
-traxxas turnbuckles
-traxxas metal output yokes (4)
-pro pack drive shafts
-new tlt kit with bearings
-tekin rebel 2
-1200 receiver pack
-3600 battery pack
-xxx-nt AD shocks
-2.2 rpm revolver wheels dyed black with moabs
-HPI bronco body (that will have a KTM themed paint job)
-stainless hardware
-g-made wideners
-2-montana scale servo mounts
-2-ofna servo savers
-1-hitec 645 servo
-1-JR 650 servo
-JR xr3i radio and receiver
-robinson racing 12t pinion
-Integy V10 Rock Crawler Hand Wound Motor 55S
will post more as I get more together. I like to take a minute and thank everyone on this great website for all the great information that is posted.

Looking cool. I was considering getting one myself. How much did it cost with all the additional parts that are needed? Also, is it good quality? Did you have to modify anything to get it to fit? Just wondering, because I'm not very experienced.....

Looks like someone did their homework...This should be one clean build...The SW2 is top quality and utilizes alot of the stock tlt parts...

A tlt build can vairy in costs depending on the parts.I haven't sat down and added everything up ,but I'm sure I'm past $500. quality is first class with the BENDER SW2 chassis and the only modification you have to do is to the drive yokes. it takes about 5 minutes to grind the shoulder off them. it does'nt matter if not to experienced ,I was'nt experienced in rock rocking just nitro rc, but with the GREAT people we have on the forum anything can be done. good luck I hope you tackle it , it's great fun building.

the sw chassis has an excellent fit finish. i would say buying a new tlt (from ultimate hobbies $69), sw chassis, and to get it running economically, you could do it for under $300. if you shop ebay and different fs forums, you can really get some cheap stuff

You do want to lock the diff in the tranny too. That'll put equal power to the front and rear axle.

i wouldn't use hot glue, i tried it at first, but after about 10 runs it came unlocked. So iused gorilla glue, and no signs of failure yet.

Well, since you called dibbs on that...

My guess is that you've got something like this in your garage too!

I guess I can't go with the other bike in my garage...a 2006 Harley. Doesn't really fit the off-road theme!

Yes, the white part/differential in the transimssion is the part you want to lock up. JB Weld works great BTW...

Nice EXC! Mine is an SX with the MXC tank on it.

I use the Quick Steel putty...just pull some off, knead it up and stuff it. Quick and easy.

Just go to the auto parts and it will be in the same section as the JB weld.

My bike is a 2001 that I bought as a left over in 2003 or 2004...can't remember now?! I had MX Tech lower the suspension for my short *** and set it up for woods. It has 2 rides on it...cleanest 2001 around!
