did some changing around with r2d2 today............took off the pede shafts, they kept coming off when in a bind. my friend gave me his set of highlift driveshafts. now i don't have to worry about them coming off while crawling. had to extend the front one with brakeline tubing. took off the e-clips and brazed them flush. took some electrical tape to make some "cv boots" for the bottoms. i should've done this in the beginning, now it's all good ......sorry for the blurry pics, too close..............  |

The hilift driveshafts look good. Did you use the masher's at the comp? Did you make the rear lockout plates? If not who did? |

did some mods to R2D2 within the past couple of weeks. young version, shut d's and i were playing "top secret" with dtp. it was hard to not say anything to him . i made "socket to ya" digs for our pimp slaps and bmv's. still gotta learn how to use them when we need 'em. gotta say it is the sh?t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we needed an edge to keep up with dtp so it was secret time at "ryde enginneering in pearl city" i got shut down against dtp but shut d's did damn well. still gotta get some practice with it. but with all the hush hush about the whole thing with dtp, it made my day when dtp saw me use it for the first time (would be my luck to draw first run :-( ), you should've seen his face . sorry dtp, no more secrets anymore..............it's all good!! we just wanted to see your expresion .open position............  closed position.............  |
