| remake of "R2D2".............drift inspired, BLITZ style!!
did a complete make over of "R2D2" for this upcoming season. gonna run this until i finish my other rig. running a stiffer backbone (thanks kila), r2 tranny with a chino dig, traded DTP my set of beadlocks for his (so he can use it on his Agent Fat Cat project) with Losi Rock Claws. holmes hobbies 10t cobalt puller motor (thanks again DTP) with mamba maxx with c.creations 10amp bec. got a hold of a tamiya subaru brat body, painted it pearl white with pearl blue stripe. took my yokomo "Blitz" decals from my drift car and decided to do something alittle different. hope you guys like it. these pics are about a month old and did alittle more changes to it. raised the backbone for a belly clearence of about 3 5/8", eliminated the front link for more steering and remounted the servo and battery slot. running a maxx amp 2s 3300 lipo. i'll post up new ones as soon as i take some pics. here's some old ones for now. thanks. | it works like a charm . i first saw it on Chino's thread (i forgot which Chino though ). he did it on another type of tranny and he said it worked awesome. it takes alittle tuning to get it to work right but once it's adjusted right it works great. i used to have the "socket to ya " dig and it worked great but the socket part at times gets hung up on the lava rocks we have here. with this dig set-up everything is way up on the tranny, out of the way. and instead of 12 catch points (if you use a 12 point socket or wrench) i now have around 18 or so catch points for the dig to lock up. it is a little pricey to build it (or if you have bruiser tranny laying around) but it's worth it . thanks for the props guys .

Maybe you should "upload" a few fake plans with self destruct mechanisms. So is YV planning a black op or something? Watching Cold War espionage specials on the history channel is starting to pay off. Last edited by ThinkTank; 01-14-2008 at 01:36 AM.

I don't know , one of you guys welded a part of Badgers hustler upside down. I'm not sure I trust your engineering skills. Just kidding.;) Actually, its a ingenius system for a dig. It's such a simple concept on paper. To bad you gotta ruin the tranny. I like it. You all get a . Do you mind if I use an idea or two?
