| another problem..urg
ok, i tested my carawler today, just drove it in my yars, over 1 rock... it stripped the rear drive yoke, the set screw wont get tight enough to hold the pinion. is it because i am useing plastic universals, and jato shafts?should i use the 20 dollar aluminm ones, of drill the pinion to use the longer set screw... i have yet to break the front one, the rears keep breaking. i snapped an ear off the one on the trans, and the screws at the axle. i hope i didnt screw any thing up. |

i believe you are having the same problems that i had. You must drill all the way through the transmission outputs, and the axle pinions. And use the screw that came with the yokes. This is a sure way it wont come off. http://www.rcpics.net/view_single.php?medid=81490 http://www.rcpics.net/view_single.php?medid=81493 Sorry pics suck, but oh well |
