The bender is a great comp worthy chassis! Although, it's way overused! Sorry Bender and SW2 owners! |

Just get the SW2 and have soemthing that is proven. You will also have plenty of people to ask questions about setup. Doesn't hurt that Brad is a hell of a guy and always willing to help. | |

The only reason benders sw's are overused is because they are so awesome, you're at a disadvantage not to use one imo. I know some people will disagree with me, ......but you can't argue with the the chassis that won nationals. When it really comes down to it though, it's driver skill that matters most of the time. Most of the comp chassis out there can perform well when set-up properly.

So I will probably oreder the chassis tonight. Now the next question: What tranny do I get? My LHS is selling complete Stampede tranny's for $50, or I was thinking about the R2? What do you guys suggest? Thanks |

I am about to order the R2 tranny, but I am wondering how to go about mounting it in the SW2 that was designed around a Pede tranny? Should I just drill holes through the delrin skid, use flat head screws and counter sink them? Thanks Last edited by shawkins; 02-26-2007 at 07:28 PM. |
