tlt sw2 build

I justed wanted to say thanks to all of the guys that post on here, I have done alot of reading and research, all of the info on here has been very helpful. I do have one question I have used a pede tranny with my sw2 build and am at 12.5 inches in length with the traxxas 105mm toe links. I was going to use the pede half shafts traxxas part #1951 but they are to short. Any suggestions on an alternative drive shaft?

get more pede shafts and extend them. cut the yoke off the male and glue it into a female. but just make sure you have the right lengths first or it will be fawked up. thats what happened to me. or you can just run shortened maxx shafts

I would just opt for the maxx shafts, they're much stronger and really easy to mod for the pede trans.

yea but with the maxx shafts you have to dremil the pede case a little and shave down the yokes. with the pede if you put the steel yokes on there plenty strong enough. ive never had any problems with them breaking.

That's true, but it's all minor work. Takes maybe 5 seconds if you have a grinder.
