tlt sw2 build I justed wanted to say thanks to all of the guys that post on here, I have done alot of reading and research, all of the info on here has been very helpful. I do have one question I have used a pede tranny with my sw2 build and am at 12.5 inches in length with the traxxas 105mm toe links. I was going to use the pede half shafts traxxas part #1951 but they are to short. Any suggestions on an alternative drive shaft? |
get more pede shafts and extend them. cut the yoke off the male and glue it into a female. but just make sure you have the right lengths first or it will be fawked up. thats what happened to me. or you can just run shortened maxx shafts |
I would just opt for the maxx shafts, they're much stronger and really easy to mod for the pede trans. |
yea but with the maxx shafts you have to dremil the pede case a little and shave down the yokes. with the pede if you put the steel yokes on there plenty strong enough. ive never had any problems with them breaking. |
That's true, but it's all minor work. Takes maybe 5 seconds if you have a grinder. |
