| Mini Giant
i have decided to get a Mini Giant and stetch it to see if i really like this whole crawling thing. i might build a custom frame for it also. but anyways, my questions..... has anyone used an E-Maxx tranny in one of these? does anyone know the size of the hex for the wheels? or does it use splines or something? i have some wheels and tires off an old radioshack truck that i think would be perfect.... Lemme know something..... |

Mini giants can be made crawlers, good luck finding one though. They have been discontinued so alot of places can't get them. The truck itself is still being made (venom was simply a distributor). The truck is also called the Leo-X and the schumacher _____? If emaxx trannies are breaking TLT axles, you can certainly bolt one to your VMG, but buy alot of extra parts. |

I didn't mean for that to come off as callas, I was saying good luck in finding one. You're just going to have to dig around for one. Some guy on one18th picked up a VMG without a radio for $50 directly from venom. Make some calls. Modify the stock tranny, don't throw in a large truck tranny, it just won't fit. But a losi mini-t tranny can fit, and there are gear reductions you can fit in the truck. Either truck can be fun, and there are lots of project trucks based on either one. |
