Default Metalhead's 2.2 Tlt

Hey guys, great site you have here. I've been registered for awhile, but I'm just now finally getting around to posting. Anyway, I figured I'd post up my TLT-based bad boy. It's nothing extreme, but I consider it a good start for a basher.

Here's the rundown on the specs:

TLT-1 chassis, suspension, axles, transmission - all fully locked
Integy 45 turn lathe motor with 17 tooth pinion
Custom built links with Duratrax Max MT nitro dogbones for drivelines
Traxxas T-Maxx Aluminum Shocks
Tamiya ESC with Duratrax/Futaba 4 channel receiver
Proline Moabs mounted foamless on dyed Kyosho 2.2's from a QRC nitro
Hardshell Jeep Wrangler body
Full exterior paint job with clear coat, cut and buffed

Here's a couple more shots before some of my suspension upgrades:

Hate is such a gay word. More like , You will decide later to take it off.

Looks nice though . I like the color.

I actually keep the bumpers on for protection. Not that they offer all that much, but I've been running in the snow lately, and I put duct tape over them to keep the snow from packing into the steering linkage and up around the servo. It offers kind of a "stand off" from everything. I can understand why they'd be a pain for heavy rock crawling, but for the time being, they fit the bill.

I put this rig in this section, because I consider it a "scale" rig, running 2.2rubber. TLT-based, true, but also a scale 2.2...sorry if I "missed the boat"...It seems kinda ambiguous to me. I'm still new here mang!

Looks good for starters.

FYI for the scale section. they usually want a ladder type frame on it, giving it a more "scale" look to it.
