I'm really liking how open the motor side is. Tons off room to get in there and work on stuff without having to completely take everything apart.

Thanks. That's one thing I personally was getting tired of doing, complete teardowns for gearing/motor changes and tranny maintenence. Now, getting the tranny out is a matter of removing 2 screws and the driveshafts.

I wish I knew.

Sparky bought a package of 8 off e-bay and gave me 4 of them. I'm not sure what brand they are. Some people thought Duratrax, some guessed Losi.

Both RCP and The Crawler Store carry 100mm aluminum threaded Hot Bodies shocks.

JP Custom RC carries some too.

If you are converting from a sw2 to an sw3 will you need all new links? What is the difference front to back on the mounting holes for the links? Thanks

Or you can make your own setup!

Went out crawling the other day, and noticed that the Open chassis side/lower part of the chassis was rubbing on my motor(r2 trans w/ rr2 motor). Probably due to chassis flex.
Anyone else had this kind of issues? I'll try to post some pictures soon.

The lower links are shoter on the SW3, that's the only difference between the two chassis'.

Sparky had one of the first prototype SW3's, it's really too thin on the bottom of the motor side plate. Once I get a chance to machine a bunch of the 3's, I'll make a few extra one piece motor side plates for the prototypes that are out there.
