| My Bender Customs SW3
Several months back I heard a rumor there was something new from Bender Customs and a quick PM, begging and pleading, and some shoe polish later I was able to buy one. I have never been so happy with a product right from the get go. After bolting everything together I made maybe 2 adjustments to the spring preload and that has been it. The beveled delrin skid slides over things like butter while keeping the laydown tranny as low as you can get it without bashing the case. Oh and my favorite feature, two screws to remove the transmission for quick and easy gear/motor/driveshaft swaps. My previous TLT required removing the links from one side of the chassis, dissasembly of the chassis and then wiggling the tranny and motor out. Not any more The twin floating shock mounts that make this possible are held in place by stock hardware that comes with your TLT kit, just slip a little locktight on the screws and you are golden. What else is there to love about the SW3? Black! Smooth, clean, and cool black! Specs on my rig are 12.5 inch WB 60-40 links Double triangulated rear links (slugzracing inc signature) Standard 4 link up front using a bender Customs Servo mount 645mg Mamba25 and park 400 (until the Quark33 and 3013 get here ) |

Hey slug, what's with the rear links? They don't look too triangulated.

Beveled- the underside of the skid Tapers up toward the chassis plates creating a smoother round edge to slide over rocks instead of a sudden 90* angle from the skid to the chassis plate. From my experiance it helps the rig slide sideways over obstacles that you are attempting to 'bump.' | |
