I was looking at the vertical smile also. How much did it cost and how long did it take you to get it if you don't mind me asking?

Once the order is placed. I take it down to the powder coaters on a Wednesday or Friday to get your color done. I usually ask a week turn around from when I drop it off.
I pick it up drill the link and shock mounts then install the skid.
ship it the next day.

I'm just finishing up organizing my work space and have incorporated a new form of keeping track of all orders to ensure better service and quicker shipping.

Double J is a stand up Vendor. If you like the look of the chassis, I say order it... after a small "blurb" about a new VS in the future... I am saving my pennies (well, a nickel now and here).

I would also recommend the CB995 servo and his link/servo mounting plates...

really... I'm not a fan boy at all, but his service for the plates and servos was outstanding and I will deal with Jj as much as possible now

The vertical smile chassis is top notch. An easy build for a 2.2 or super rig. The trailbeater scale chassis is also a great chassis. With the subtle changes Jj has planned it will be even better. Jj is a great vendor to deal with, he always comes through for you. I would highly recommend him and his products. I have spent more than a couple bucks with him so far, and I happily plan to spend even more in the future.
