Default How am I suppose to do this????

If I'm planning on using the stock TLT-1 transmission for my first rockcrawler, for expenses sake.
How do I get Tmaxx or Pede driveshafts to fit the Dogbone drive cups on the stock trans??
I don't want to try and run dogbones for fear of them falling out at the wrong time.
I would rather have sliding driveshafts.
I've heard all about how the stock trans is crap, but I'm trying to keep the cost down since I'm just starting out.
Later I'll upgrade to a pede trans.
Thanks DC

P.S. Mods if this is in the wrong forum, I'm sorry.
I just thought since its about the TLT it might get
more info here.
Move it if i've done wrong. Thanks

Here's one method for fitting Maxx shafts on drive cups.
Easy method of mounting MAXX driveshafts

That would work great if I had a Pede trans.
The drive cups on the TLT use a grubscrew. So that end is a no brainer.
Its the bolt all the way through the diff that makes the stock TLT trans harder for me to figure out.
Thanks DC

If you use stampede shafts, all you will need to do is grind down the yoke so the grub screws will grab the axle pinion gear shaft. You might need to extend the shafts by adding an extra male or female piece, but that is the least of your worries and is the easy part.
