Default Front Dig Setup

Im thinking about doing a front dig setup on my TLT Im building.

I have a extra HS-85MG servo I found and was wondering if it would be a good servo to use for the driveshaft slider?

What servo are you guys using for the rear brake setup?

Thanks

I have seen one other set up for the rear brake that uses some type of socket on the drive shaft. Anyone know what truck I am talking about?

i think most use traxxas sliders, two male shafts and a female for the sliding. I dont know if they use rustler shafts or revo shafts.

I use the HS-85 and it works great. I also use Maxx driveshafts.

If you are building one in the miniwheeler style that has the collar to lock the rear axle, I highly suggest JB welding a solid rod into the hole down the center for strength. After I ground off the splines on my first shaft it twisted within the first couple uses. With the solid rod JB'd in there I have not had any problems since.

I had seen that on here where someone had put a rod through the shaft, and was planning on doing that. But thanks for telling me how, with the JB Weld.

Or you can do it like mine and never worry about breaking a shaft.
