Ohhh, sexy. Another great Gimbal chassis. Very interesting idea for the lockouts. I'd love to try some on my bmvii with the super clocked rear axle. |

That is a nice lookin tuber I agree with JIA and have that thing powder coated, you could do it your self with a kit from the East Wood Co, the basic kit starts a 100 bucks, the powder is about 20. If black is what you are going for I would powder coat it in a High Gloss Black it would look killer that way. Also what is the tuber made out of? Steve |

Looks good Ben. I'm patiently waiting too. One question, is the frame within the new tuber specs? Looks kinda short, less than 12.5".

What is the width of the chassis at the fattest point in the middle, and the bottom and top (driver side to passenger side, not front to back). I've a question formulated for the rules committee and I need to know for sure so I know if it is a valid question. Specifically it relates to: Quote:

2.2 crawler class tube chassis' are allowed with the following restrictions. Over all dimension of the complete chassis must be atleast 8" overall length, 3" overall width, 3.75" overall height, the roof must be raised from the main chassis to resemble a cockpit and it must have hood, roof and side panel's. Tube chassis should resemble a 1:1 vehicle. based on this, it qualifies. | |
