Default original TLT rock buster

Hello everyone its been a long time since a lot of rc went complete RTR and not kits. My daughter found my pretty much original taymia tat rock buster in my closet and wanted to try it out. so i only had a cheap charger now so we charged the flat pack and installed fresh batteries in remote it sprang to live like new. she was running it in my garage for a while making little obstacles when all of a sudden stopped moving unless you picked it up, once you put it under load nothing you see transmission spin but nothing. do you think trans went or a diff?? thanks for the help...my daughter really wants to trick it out like some of my others I had years and years back.

There's a center ball differential inside the trans, sounds like came loose and is slipping. Tighten it back up with a 1.5mm allen wrench and it should be good to go. Should be a simple as popping off a lower link and removing the dogbone to get to it.

If you really want to set and forget, replace the diff balls with a set of Traxxas Rulon pegs. (PN TRX4685) and put some red threadlock on the center screw. It won't slip or come loose again.
