I run KBF shafts on all my trucks, they widen it just enough IMO. I cant say I have ever broke run, and I have had them on some pretty heavy rigs where I have bound up the wheels pretty good. One thing youll definitely need to do, is shave them down, otherwise installing them as is, will greatly limited the amount of steering you have.

the part where the axle slides into it, like the cup part, you need to hit on the grinder and knock off a mm or 2... I can get you some pics, but I dont have any right now.

A king black foot half shaft, the shaft that runs through the kunckles that get the 12mm hex attached to it, then the wheel goes on.. But like started, you need spacers to run them, Bed @ MSD sells really nice ones

eh, its not really to bad.... and its a cheaper widener too, I refuse to shell out almost 30$ for wideners, when I get the KBF ones for 14$...plus im so cheap, I space mine with bushings

well if you look at it it's more expensive

17 for the wiodeners and 22 for the 4 stubs

i like the desing of the wiodeners the cone shape sit perfect on the bearing

gonna try out the cpe to see how those go next

kbf ? ? ? wideners ? ? ?

Has anyone ever tried these axles? I have a set on my HPI MT. I just got a TLT the other day and have no experience with them. Seen that people are using these black foot axles as wideners. Is the black foot axle 5mm? If so then this HPI axle should work too. It's 5mmx40mm which is the same length as the black foot axle.

22$ for the 4 stubs where are you buying yours? I get them off of tower for 7.99 http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXGG15&P=7

Granted, I usually only order from tower when I am order a bunch of stuff, this way I save on shipping.
