Default Project Stealth Bug.BMV-2

Hello. I have been here on RCC for quite a while now and i decided to make a thread about my crawler.There was an old thread about my but i deleted it and made a new one because alot has changed.It is another bmvii knock off. The reason why i made it my self is because i had ideas on how i can improve the original desing. onto the spect!!!

BMV-2 with intergrated wedge system
Stealth tranny locked diff
55t handwound integy
Cirrus CS-80 1\4 scale monster servo
Moabs
Pede wheels
LRP esc
HPI Bug body
TRX sliders

I will get a pic of the integrated wedge if anybody is interested.

What's a wedge doohicky?

Is that really a 1/4 scale servo?? Can barely find enough room for a standard on mine. LOL

Only one thing, Why do u call it BMvii while it isnt a BMVii??

I'll sec. that,can't tell nothing with body on.I'm going torsion even though some say It's crap so help a fellow torsion guy with some idea's.The rear lock is a good start,and working on wege but not sure if I need front clearence too.

pics are loading while we speak.
the servo is kind of something i made. its got a 1\4 servo motor inside.i cramed it in there and used the cirrus case to cover it all.
i also have a fornt wedge. some people say it messes with your sterring but i havent run into any problems.

I can see changing the angle of the steering diff. would hurt the steering and the front pinion really wouldn't hang up so i think I will just space the front higher but I like your rear lock out,can you post a pic of them?

Well a little update.I got out on the rocks today but my dumb A$$ forgot the camera . Im hoping to go out again tomorow but i dont know.Im in the prosess of getting a new charger and a new battery pack. i only hav 100$ .I need opinions and suggestions!!

Elite 1500's 2/3 A from cheapbatterypacks and the Piranha charger.

I second dez, those batteries are great! I just picked up two triangle 6 packs for like $42 from cheap battery packs and they fit nicely.

It looks great.Have you had any problems side loading? Did you add any weight to the tires?You'll love that batt. pack,got mine a week ago and they are killer.
