| Newbie question! Battery location?
Sorry guys, just a quick question. Were do you mount your batt's on a tlt? I'm thinking upper front links? Sorry, I've only had clods before. Thanks for your time, Stu. |

Part of battery mounting will depend on the chassis you are using and your intended purpose for the crawler. This is how I have mine mounted on my SW2 chassis: I'm using a couple of left over parts from the original TLT kit and a battery bar from an RC18T. This method will only work with 2/3A's or LiPo batteries (or I suppose AA's if you built a pack out of them). Overall, it's clean and easy to access the battery and has shown to not be detrimental to the performance of the crawler. |

there is also a thread under the electronics section with a pack made of 2/3 a's 5 across the top of the servo and one hanging off of each end. cheap battery packs.com has made 4 of these for me and they are a very nice fit. and the front is not limited on articulation like a full size stick pack would create. |
