Axle Noise

I locked both axles, using JB in rear and relocationg the spider gear in front. I ran the motor and Pede just to check the operation, and the front axle is making metal to metal grinding noise. Any ideas?

Open it up and see if you can see any shaving or weird wear marks. could be a couple of things. You may need to shim your pinion.

did you grease it? thats the only thing i can realy think of

I did grease all the bearings, but when I closed the case, I didn't bother greasing, I only used one of the gears to block it from rotating inside. I may have to open it up and fill it with JB like the rear.

that would probably be your best bet. see if it goes away. but turn it by hand first and see if it is binding at all and see if you can locate the noise without breaking it down
