gear drive tlt? does anyone know if there is a way to change the stock trany in the tlt from a belt drive to a gear drive? |
might be but it wouldnt be easy. best way is to swap a gear drive trans in. |
wonder if i could find a gear that would fit in between the top and bottom pully and drill a few wholes and make it set right there. |
you probably could but like said above it would probably be tough to do and you would be better off swapping it out |
or, check out my chain conversion. havnt had a chance to get it all back together yet and test it out but i think it'll kick the belts @$$. maybe i'll get on that tonight. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/tamiya-tlt-crawlers/52591-tlt-tracer-mods.html |
thats a nice chain drive. im tryin to keep it simple and cheap all though i dunno how much i cost you to make that chain drive. let me know how it works out. |
