Wow, it worked. Rear axle is clocked, had XRC axle C's, now am trying the Fat Rock axle C's. Did some custom upper links and shock mount/chassis braces. The shock mount/chassis braces allow quick change (2 screws) so I can play with shock angles and stuff. The dig works great and the chassis is awesome. Last week I modified it to more of a droop set up to try it. Now I just have to get rid of some torque twist if I want to run it lowered.

Thanks,
Casey

It works just fine. The front links are done that way to allow BTA steering. Xtreme hobbies is working on adjustable axles c's that will allow clocking of the front axle and then I can use high clearance links in the front, clocked axle and BTA teering.

so you can have the axle turned up far and still have plenty of steering ?

it gets the driveshafts up out of the way, because if you run high clearance links, the links are out of the way, but the driveshafts still hit.
Hopefully i explained that allright!

That is correct. But, it seems XRC is not going to make adjustable axle c's. Oh well. I may make some of my own, we shall see. I want to get some CVD's when they come out to see how it turns with those.

Well here are the adjustable prototypes. They have three different positions. They are made from 6061 aluminum so they don't need to be any heavier guys. We could produce them but the time it takes to make them is not cost effective. I don't think anyone would want to pay what we would need to charge. I've seen some pretty good ideas on fixed clocked Cs. Another thing that needs to be considered is this really takes away from the steering as the knuckle hits and the angles are all out there.

Even if you don't ever produce them, I applaud the effort and thinking outside the box. That is what progresses this hobby....thinking outside the box. Keep up the great work David.

I will take more steering over a "better" shaft angle anyday. Set your rig up right, build a good chassis, get your links correct and you should have no problems with shaft angle.

I am suprised you didnt make it out of CF David

Nice rig wright. XRC's are coming on strong lately. SW what?

Our first comp is not for a month or so. I have had the rig since last fall and was able to make one comp with it. It was my first time driving it, didn't have brushless, dig or clocked rear axle then. I am looking forward to trying it out in competition now.

Thanks for the compliments. XRC makes some great stuff.
