Default Mascman's Crawler = SW2 + Bushwacker / NOW RUBICON

I joined this site way back in the beginning, but never built a crawler untill now. I'm glad I came back to check things out!!

Left some extra material on the front and back to mount bumpers when I get around to it.

It's a pretty basic build. Snow melted enough to take it outside...just got DSL so lots of pics.

Thanks to all who share info with others and encouragement!! Hope someone enjoys seeing another Bushwacker!

SPECS
TLT Axles
SW2 Chassis
Custom links
MAXX shafts
Integy 55T and Stampede Tranny
Tekin Rebel
2.2 Moabs on Stampede rims with homemade Beadlocks (non-funtional)
Bushwacker with some super bright RED paint!

I think this is a cool pic:

Thanks.

The sun makes it look pretty bright.

It's just Pactra's Indy Red backed with Silver. It took a while to get used to it!

Looks great, I like the red. Do you get some rubbage on the rear wheels? I had to hack my SW2 Bushwacker up like crazy to eliminate it.

With the redrocks it was terrible:

I'm running moabs on some new beadlocks now so I have a bit more clearance.

Yeah, it rubs the front and rear.

I haven't decided whether I will trim it or not...we'll see.

Bring your scissors Sunday to the GTG. We are going to chop it up...

Wanted a body that matched my wheelbase better so this is it now:

Day after the first GTG of the Western PA Crawlers with a little rock rash.

This body is great because of the length and the size of the flares...allows for some nice flex.

Thats a nice looking jeep. I love that color. I think I'm gonna have to paint mine like that once it gets going.

You should see it in person. Very nice. I couldn't have done a better job myself.

Thanks...both of you.

I actually let my daughter pick out the color. I tend to paint everything either yellow or red.

You just gotta love those bright colors, right polyophio? ;)

What? Bright colors? Why would say that?

In Western PA of course!

Actually, we just had a GTG and are still developing this club. Heck, it was the first time i got to even run my truck anywhere besides in the grass.

We are asking for members to scout out locations so right now there isn't anything set in [pun]STONE[/pun]!

Look in the GTG section for our club and see what develops.
