| Hustler 2.2 PRO
Ever since I first saw the Hustler all I could think was how nice it would look as a 2.2 comp buggy. Well after lots of begging I now have I my hands on one of the first Prototype chassis Specs R2 trans 8 tooth pinion 27turn monster hoursepower stock motor Mamba Max 3 cell lipo Maxx drive shafts JR 8550 steering servo JR Z650 winch servo MPI voltage regulator for steering servo Jato rod ends and 8-32 all thread links Maxx big bore shocks dyed Stampede Wheels Pro-Line 2.2 Moabs aluminum body panels weight 5lb 6oz 2 1/4" belly clearance at ride hight 3 1/2" at droop This thing works great already and I still have a few tweeks planed for it in the next few weeks. I plan to drive this thing like crazy all over the South west desert this next month between Vegas and Moab I will get a few other Impressions from other drivers and see what they think. Looking good! I heard you did a little more than beg! I'm using a 23 turn mag mayhem w/ my R2 and it has more than enough axle snapping power plus all the wheelspeed u need! |

I drove Aaron's prototype and now this one and all I can say about them is.... There is gonna be alot of these little rigs running around this summer! Oh, and the 27 turn works AWESOME with the R2! Very smooth, tons of wheelspeed and did I mention smooth! Last edited by racerx; 03-12-2007 at 07:35 AM. |

I did not take too many pictures I mostly shot video and have not had time to edit it. I did take a pic of the breakage after I gave this thing all I could and go figure it was the axle housing that gave up. The winch works great to controll the suspension. I threw in some other pics from Saturday night the guy in the Dodge got a D.U.I. for being a dumb a$$ and not having a good spotter. It was funny to watch the tow truck driver try to pull it out with it still in park makes me wonder who was the bigger water head.

Looks very cool. Did you move the lower links inside to keep them from hanging on rocks? Jay |
