| All the Newbies, My ebay trail machine
Tlt-1 based truck. $71.00 Bought the Junfac conversion kit off of ebay, not bad deal. $105.00 Bought the Integy 55T motor, $15.00 Awesome buy, recommended. Bought my yokohama M/t off of ebay, also. Have perfect grip and height. $25.00 Have an Hpi F-150 Body for my Nitro, Free. 8-) bought the wheels of tower hobby, $17.00 Tamiya Stock Electronic Speed Control bought off ebay, $15.00 Radio System was off my Hpi Nitro, Free. Bought my Battery Packs off ebay $35.00 for two 7.2 mah 3800 suc c There was a little bit of custom work such as adding the longer wheel axles. Moving the shocks up for more ground clearance, recommended for sure. Adding my electric fan to the motor, because the motor does get hot, always keeps it cool. By the way, Rear wheel steering is hard to control. lol I had to lock the axles, thts a must! Just moved the spider gears together. what ever u do, dont JB weld the gears in the differential, there a B**** to replace. Ok now theres an arguement about stock transmissions, Stock are generally ok, but lock the center differential. i used model glue and three screws, you have to work with what you got. i think thats but it. What i would change....the body to a scale version maybe add a winch....not sure. Any Questions or comments...drop a message. thanx for looking! |

you know if you mash the spiders together it creates alot of play in the axle because the spiders are actually doing something with this set up. and it will continue to get worse. well good luck just my .02 cents. | |
