I ran a pack through it, after modding the punisher shaft, on a small rock pile. Torque twist was killin me so I put a spring inside the front left shock and swapped out the 45wt for 100wt. Now I gotta get it back on the rocks before the next GTG on see how it does. LMK what you guys think.

How well do the rc4wd beadlocks hold down the mashers? One of the locals was saying he wasn't real happy with the results?

I like the tuber, it came out nice.

STEEL_CITY_CRAWLER 03-14-2007 11:32 PM

wow, looks good!

can't wait to see it in person. seeing that definately makes me want to hurry up and finish my CAD work on my tuber so i can start building it;-)

nice SIMPLE design on the tube work, too. i think that's my problem is that i am trying to do too complew of a design for my first tuber....

I was running my mashers with those rims, and if I took extra care seating the beads, they held up for a while, but eventually would pop out. I switched the tires to moabs and haven't had a problem since. I am thinking the only way to run mashers is with the axial beadlocks, which are available right now at RCP.

i have also heard that the mashers pull out too, cant hold bead.... Dont know about the moabs though.

They don't hold em well. They always poped out on me so I ran a bead of silicone around a lip and haven't had a problem yet. I just ordered 2 sets of axial 2.2's. I'm a put the M2K's on them. Blast and powdercoat the RC4WD's then mount my moabs on them. Then I'll have both sets and can swap em out and compare.

CAD work huh!? I made my first few tubers kinda complex. Decided to keep it simple this time

Man, I took that pinisher shaft straight to the bench grinder soon as I got home sunday! And I made a special set screw out of a screw pin. He's not going anywhere now.

Well... at least untill I figure out if I want rear dig or not.

I was going to shave the rear axle, but I kept hearing a voice say"what if you need the rear servo mount?" But the bottom is getting shaved before I hit the rocks agian. I wanna get those RC4WD rear lockouts too. They look nice!!!

Crawln Coles 03-16-2007 07:50 PM

Here's some pics of em "in his element!". They're from the WPAC GTG last sunday.

How do you like your Cirrus servo? :?:

Hobby People had them on sale for $24.99, so I picked up 3 of them. I haven't tried them yet, some say good some say bad.

Does anyone know what servo horn fits a Cirrus servo?
