Default SW2 stealth COURIER

Took awhile to gather some parts to get this far:

SW2 chassis with full length skid by Kris
B3 stealth transmission, hopefully Taylor Hobby Products locker
ShorTy-made 1/4" STEEL ROD 60/40 lower links
PROLINE FORD COURIER, with what I hope to be an eye catcher of a paint job.
Tires and wheels from Slugzracing corporate headquarters
Driveshafts????
Electronics???
Upper link/servo mounts???
lots of stuff I forget

Thumbs up Very Nice (Like Borat says)

Good job man, I'm interested to see how you mod the driveshafts to fit dogbone outputs from the tranny, keep us up to date.

WOW! Look how tiny the Stealth looks in the SW2's cavernous opening needed for the Pede.

Sweet!

I know...I really wanted an SW3 after drivin a couple of the guys comp rigs around here. What can I say, I wanted a 2.2 crawler and still be able to drink beer as I'm putting this thing together. So I bought a used SW2 from Kris. I must have killed numerous cases of beer building SLIM. No reason to change an effective program.

I think I may have got a little carried away with the length on the rear links vs. the fronts Friggin noobie

MMMM, Michelob Amber, I knew there was a reason I liked you
Much faster than the stick build so you should be done before the next comp
I am also thinkin' you might have more ground clearance than you need since we do more slickrock/sandstone.

Your links look like a 50-50 setup compared to mine

Slugz...Tested any wheels lately? :-P

Yeah, this ones progressing just a touch faster. It'll be out there before too long.

I'm just playing with links and such now, what kinda belly clearance should I be looking for...I'm right @ 3" as pictured, 12-7/16" wheelbase. Everything's easily changed right @ the moment. Was thinking of toying with some high clearance rear links and maybe some Delrin.

Killians=Coors=...

I won't go there. Actually Killians is the only Coors brand beer I can stand to drink.

Ran out of the Michelob Ultra Amber, and the Blue Moon wheat was just not doing it for me without the orange slices . My wife got me going on that little trick

Here's what I'm thinking for the body and paint sceme

Maybe Make the white silver?? Deleting the KTM logos...maybe. I think it would look cool on the Courier.
