Question will this work on tlts ?

i noticed the wheelykings have the steering ontop of the axle but the servo is in the chassis and the link runs along the driveshaft...

seems good for like scale-ness and maybe performance ??

for scale yes but for performance id say keep the weight up front and down low, on a tlt for performance just keep the servo on the axle.

Which part of the drag link running from the middle chassis out the axle, where it transfers lateral power through a fulcrum pivot is "scale-ness" to you?

the part where you cant see it unless you realllyyy look hard.. and ad to if someone built a scaller like that they would go out of there way to make it less noticable then it already is...

and it pobably performs better then the way most of them doit i would think atleast

So he isn't entitled to an opinion?

It DOES look more scale than having a servo bolted to the axle.

Weather or not it works "better: is a different subject.

Having a bad day Rob?

but how does it perform against the wheelykings setup ? ive never ran eaither of them.. just going off what ive seen and most of the chassis mounted servos dont seem to get alot of flex up front.. and the wk looks like it wouldnt really affect it that much

the wk does flex well, butit doesnt track well either, ther'se alot of flex inthe bell crank setup, in a situation where you need very precise steering control you will see the slop in their setup play out in a very negative way. yes you do loose a bit of steering in a setup like unimogers, but for a scale setup its nearly perfect. neither the KW or the chassis mount servo would do well in a 2.2 comp compared to a axle mounted servo though

ohh..

cause i knew that the steering is probably just about as good as a 2.2 comp rig as say mogers scale rig... just not as good flex

and the flex on the wk had to be almost what a 2.2 comp could get (not saying its a good comp rig or nothing.) but i wasnt sure how well that would actually steer

even stock the WK has to much flex, 65*-70* is enough, anymore than that and you start to have problems
