well its been a while since i posted about my new thunderhorse chassis so ill let yall know whats been goin on

i have recived the new updated H.D version of the chassis. i love it! i dont think i will ever break anything on this new one. i like the thicker links much better. i have now passed the gen 1 chassis on to my wife. we went out this past weekend to Mooresville state park. this was the first time i have drivin this thing. WOW its the best crawler i have ever driven. i liked my bmvii because of the cog but didnt like the lack of flex. well the THUNDERHORSE has the flex and cog and the most g.c i have seen. i cant wait to compete with this thing i just want to thank Jeff at jwcustomwurksrc.com for all his help and hard work. i hope to take some vid of this thing this weekend. stay tuned

Have faith in the revisions. This version is stronger than my comp rig and I have beat the snot out of mine.

lol Don't underestimate the stupidity of idiots "testing" stuff. But like I said, you would be hard pressed to break this HD version on accident... well, that's what I meant anyway.

I know of people who hold RC stuff out and drop it to "test" it. Punks.

Looks good Lawrence. Good to see the NC guys and Gals stepping it up a notch. Just hope Ellen don't whoop your butt with the other one. Can't wait to see them run on Sunday.

Default thunderhorse

i am thinking i need one of these chassis, after building and driving a chassis by prp i realized i am not gonna be able to compete with it. So the chassis comes with the links, servo plates, ball joints, ends, and obviously the chassis? Any good pics of the new HD version? I like the bend in the lower link, and the links are strong? Just one more. . . What is the easiest way to mount a body to these?

To mount the body I will most likely run some alluminum between the tops of the shock towers side to side and put some posts of the right sixe for the body I am using.
I don't have the ability to post pics yet, but it's kind of like the Mark 1, just with thicker side plates and a larger tranny plate.

No more high clearance links. The standard chassis that everyone has is 3/16" Delrin..it takes a beating. The new HD version is 1/4" Delrin..apparently no one wants it. Yes chassis,servo/upper link mounts, links w/ traxxas revo ends. I used body post mounts(maybe from BRP?)...3" long and just screwed them to the shock towers on the vertical plate and ran them parrallel to the ground.

I hate making them I had them on my comp rig and got to looking...They're not needed. I am going to be shut down TEMPORARILY soon ( not sure of date yet). So if anyone wants a chassis I need the orders in soon. I am expecting being shut down for 2 months.
