For the hustler paint stick to basic colors. With tubers you trade paint with rocks a whole lot so having a color you can find a paint marker for makes touch up easy. After every event my truck looks like someone took a belt sander to it.

if it is geared right and the esc is setup fine yes it is very smooth.I think most people go brushless for the drag break and the power and runtime

well I got my quark 33 esc and crawlmaster motor in all I can say is smooth.I was playing with gearing and I got upto a 18t/87t and still smooth and no cogging.Im running 15t/87t now its alittler faster then my 3013 was with 12t/87t but it way smoother.I may lower the gearing more not sure yet.the 1/10 scale dig servo is working geart Im very happy with it.I also lightened up the truck 8oz an took of my rx pack also added foams to the wheels.I will never use another mamba esc in another 2.2 in my life quark's for me

Yeah the Mamba 25 is like a on off switch. Bleeeeet Bleeeet not BLemmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Mamba Max are not as bad though. The programming is way better on the mamba's. The quark has a better start up and is light. I have had issues with reliablity and the esc reprograming itself though.
