|  driveshafts...not staying?
hey guys. my stock driveshafts are not staying fixed on the yoke! what the heck can i do to fix this. i have tried to tighten the allen insert to no avail... anyone?

Did you loctite the set screw in place? I've had one back out on me before. Also, make sure that the set screw is on the flat spot on the pinion shaft.

its on the flat spot, no i did not loctite the screw in, i guess i will try that tomorrow. I screwed the upper yoke into the tranny through the threaded stud to keep it there as it was slipping off all of the time. does anyone make aluminum or brass driveshafts for these things? |

ya, make sure you use red lock tight and not the blue stuff, red is good. if that doesn't work, you could spot weld it if you have a welder, or jb weld should do it

which post were you responding to... whether or not the high lift shafts would work or what?

Most people just use stampede hafshafts and extend them. There is a sticky at the top of the newbie section that probably has some info in it that you could use.
