Default TLT stock chassis cutting guide

I've got pretty much all the parts now for putting together a crawler. Only thing is that I can't seem to find any guides for cutting the stock TLT plates to accomodate a T4 stealth transmission. I'll be using some tmaxx turnbuckles with this setup. Anybody have any templates or even photos of how you cut the stock chassis plates?

just go at it with a sharpie and a dremel. if you screw it up there are plenty of potential stock chassis donors

I have a B3 in mine. Click the link in my sig for the build. There is another stock chassis/stealth build link in my build as well. I think that one uses a B4 and there are a few really good shots of the installation. Neither of us had to do much cutting to get it in. If you are going to install it in a laydown orientation, that's another story. You'll need to do more cutting for that. Good luck!

Perfect! These are exactly the type of photos I was looking for! It looks like you cut off the bottom inch or so off the chassis plates, widened a couple of the slots on the left side and drilled extra holes for mounting options. I'm going to use this as a guide now that I have an idea for how much to cut off the bottom. Thanks and as emaxxjeremey said, I can always get more stock plates since they seem pretty cheap and common on ebay these days.
