That because you guys in Vegas are baked from all the heat and all that cheap booze from the Cheetah room!:-P

My BM worked extremely well and my wedge design hasn't failed a single time!

Well I took the BMV to the gtg today. IT KICKED ***! This thing was doing pretty amazing. The big freakin stick pack was kind of killing me though. I bought a 6 cell 1200mah 2/3 A pack from Freq E Tag today though, and it is already installed. I am still going to have a high cap 7 cell pack made though.

The park was a nice place to crawl with a couple difficult obstacles, there was only one climb that I couldn't get. The only person I saw tackle it was Draven with his BMVii. I need to get the wideners on and then I should be set.

I snaped a drive shaft and then my replacement kept popping off at the yoke. I picked up steel yokes from Freq E Tag today too. All in all it will be near comp ready/reliable soon.

Pics will be up soon.

Looks like yours was doing as well as any other drawlers out there today.

Had plenty of breakage today. Besides your driveshaft issues, I know Matt stripped a spur gear, I think Neil broke something, Jerry broke something (cant remember what though), JW took his swimming, and I broke a rear inner axle shaft and Draven said his axles ready to break.

Broken parts = good times

X20. IVe built several of the torsion rigs, and set up is very important. teh BMV II is by far thee best out of the box style of torsion rig., If I had an extra 60 Id pick up one today

So I'm guessing it perfroms better than say an SW2?

I have some 1/8" steel rod that I was going to try and use.

Anyone have or seen a video of a BMV and a shocked vehicle tackling the same course? I'd like to see the two compared going over the same lines.

Where can I find the BMV chassis?

I tested one over teh same course at my house...controlled conditions.......and several different chassis designs.......Lets just say it holds its own on everything and did some things that only a super had done previously

I think it would have been more funny if Jeff would of had to go swimming to get it!

Pics are almost done Uploading, 156 of them.

RivBlueNoma - I don't think you and I were introduced. Which rig was yours?

Here there be yo

Like it wasn't even there!

Blub Blub Blub

Good Pic

I brought the wife and puppy

Next to the waterfall

Freaking Driveshafts

Steeper then it looked, but it hardly even flinched. Some sprung rigs were stuggling a little with it.

It was a blast guys, really wish I wouldn't have had that ugly arse stick pack on there though, the new one looks a million times better.

What was the second tough spot?

I really wish I would have had wideners on. I wish I had that exact piece of rock in my apartment to practice on. It is too far away to go just for chits and giggles though. We need to hit hill park this week for sure though.

The BMVii is almost perfectly 50:50 balanced now with the new pack on.

and looks alot better then that ugly *** stick pack

Not all of us sprung rigs had trouble with that spot.
It would make a good gate for the next comp.

Yeah that would make a good gate, I think the thing to practice was trying to get through the gate that was right before it and clear that gate without a backup.

I just found out today that I will not be able to make it to the next comp either! freaking sucks! I really want to compete now. It was great getting out with everyone there and getting to see everyone's rigs. Looks like I am going to miss most all of this season though.
