Well the / Jeep CJ is because I wasn't sure if the superduty body would workout. I'm not having any luck getting this thing together. I'm thinking I may just start a new chassis and go from there. We'll see.

Well this is now going to be a BULU2 chassised rig. That's the one thing I don't like about my buggy I can't change the look of it by putting on a different body. So the SuperDuty body will fit as well as my Military Studebaker. It's the HPI MX 1 body I painted camo. I'll probably paint the Bulu flat black. Last edited by rckjeep; 03-30-2005 at 06:22 PM. |

RCKJEEP, take a look at my webshots album, I have pics of my TLT axle/Bruiser frame rig there. It doesn't flex a bunch because of the TLT shocks, but it drives like a real truck. http://community.webshots.com/user/gascoupe1933 |

That's pretty cool. What tranny is that. I have a pede trans and just couldn't figure out how to mount the trans and links in good places for both.

Hi guys. It's a KingHauler tranny w/a GD-600. The TLT axles have the same ratio as the King Hauler axles, so the gearing is a little off with the tall 2.2 tires. Nothing a lathe motor wouldn't fix, but I couldn't get hold of any when I was building it. So, in went a GD. The trannies are only a single output, so I had to convert it for 4WD. I'll show how in another thread if anybody wants details on the process. There is no additional transfer case, I just lengthened the output shaft.

Ok so with the latest bruiser frame build up I'm aching to get back into this thing. But I sold the super duty body so I aquired this and peeled off a bunch of really dumb stickers and painted my becoming tradition paint scheme. Whatda all think? oh the grill and rear bumper will be camo'd as well. But I need a front bumper so I'll most likely make one if I can't get a clod one. |

I think you need to get another ford body. But other than that it should be a cool rig.
