Default tg10 axles = weak

ever since i did the 4wd lock out and the fat rock axle c's i have broken stub axles. today both myself and a friend broke one.

so whats the best answer to this ?

axles that have more threads then the tlt axles.you dont gain any width just more threads so the wheel nut can be tightened down now.

Odd.....I've only ever run Tg10's and never broke one yet, where are they breaking?

Are you running a brushless setup? I run the tg10's and a 55t lathe and the motor will stall when the wheels get locked up before anything breaks. Brushless is another story.

I have an XRC CF, 'Pede, TG-10's and wide hexes, Fat Rock C's and the Novak Crawler BL setup... I haven't shredded a stub yet.. Nor has one been shredded on this rig from the motor... One has broke from being dropped on it, but none have busted from being driven... The slipper is still on the 'Pede and that's saved me many broken parts to date already...

He might be talking about breaking the axle after a hard landing on that corner? I know I have snapped a few that way.

And yes the answer is our CVD's.
