I am trying to find a body with a 10 inch wheelbase for my TA01/02. Not to picky, but would like it to be some sort of 4x4. Any help (other than hardbodies)?

Try Parma, they have a lot of 10" trucks for stock Clods, from whay back still listed.

I use a proline CJ8 body and love it, get a little wheel rub but its not the end of the world. Also got a spare one unpainted for the next project.

I just had to wipe my monitor off after reading that. That is funny as hell.

I've owned a few real Bugs myself, so I'm a little partial to them. You just see so many of them because the shape itself is a competitive advantage, that's all.

I have a Subaru Brat body right now. I thought I had pics of it in this PC but I can't find them now.

I saw a nice MX-1 in there somewhere, I've run that body as well. They are almost designed for a crawler, narrow and short. You don't need to cut much of them.

I have done this, but the rules you have in the US might disallow it, because of the amount of material removed. Here in Australia, we're more open.

That Lexan Brat body is a top suggestion for the shorty project, 9.5" wb.
